The Augher Twelfth, whilst one of the smaller parades, is definitely one of the most relaxed with a very strong family feel. The family atmosphere is enhanced by the many family members from across Northern Ireland, Great Britain and beyond returning home for their traditional Twelfth parade.

Orangemen and Bands participating in the parade will gather at the assembly field on the Favour Royal Road, Augher.

The Parade will commence at 12.15pm. The procession will be headed by visiting Brethren from Co Monaghan followed in turn by Annahoe District and Fivemiletown District. The full genre of bands will be on display with pipe, flute, accordion and brass bands all participating in the parade. The procession will proceed via Main Street to the demonstration field on the Clogher Road.

Parking and viewing is available along the full length of the route. In the demonstration field there will be a colourful display of all lodge banners on either side of the platform.

The platform proceedings will commence at 2.15pm with a joint musical performance by Murley Silver and Glenageeragh Pipe bands, followed by a religious service. The speaker will be Rev. Edwin Frazer with the praise led by Murley Silver Band.

Special ‘Orange Open’ Golf Challenge

The Clogher Valley Twelfth always includes something a little different to coincide with the traditional activities. This year's Twelfth will see Orangemen embrace the golfing spirit generated by the return of the British Open Golf Championships to Royal Portrush for the first time since 1951. A special Orange Golf Challenge which consists of a ‘Nearest the Pin’ competition will be hosted for Orangemen from the various lodges at 3.30pm. Participants will compete wearing their Orange regalia e.g. Sash & Bowler Hat.

Return Parade

The return parade will commence at 4.15pm with lodges retracing the route of the earlier parade. The parade will conclude at 5pm.
